When Corporations Control the World during Your Watch!

By Tim Lynch

At present our planet mothership earth is under a full on assault by her unconscious offspring - human beings. Though she freely gives us our bodies with a very profoundly encoded DNA sequence, head tripping man has forgotten that when he tracks back through his belly button, his navel and his umbilical cord - back to his mother and grandmother and great grandmother all the way back through his family tree, back through the lineage of species we finally arrive at an early molten ball of metal and gases - the primal forming mother earth.

Cut to today and she has seemingly squirted us out of her elemental body as we walk around the surface as forgetful progeny, endeavoring to devour all of mother earths precious resources, like rain forests, animal habitats, fisheries, etc whilst engaging in war, at the same time, polluting the atmosphere, oceans and the land including ourselves as the latest emergent species.

Some would say that we have a schizophrenic mind set with a psychopathic bent, and are unconsciously  ripping the rug out from under our collective feet!

Today we have around 190 different nations on earth with diverse cultural norms, religions, racial types and all of us with major bias's, conditioning, and patterning as to how we should do life. Most countries now have been enticed to sell our homegrown and manufactured produce and products as exports and having to deal with hugely differing exchange rates that are incredibly difficult to deal with in a global economy where vacillating currency is king. And with international digital commerce operating at the speed of light, corporate forces want a cohesive, electronic system that is '*holistic' and everything audited, wrapped up and accounted for and in order. A new world order.

What has come to us now is an unelected commercial cabal of mainly men, most born into money and affiliated to banking and the corporate sector who have decided among themselves to control the planetary levers of power and base their whole reality on making money, profiting at all costs. This exploiting of people further down the food chain and continuing to put our planet and her people in a commercial vice like grip, locks everyone down into a survival mode, that in turn is inducing more levels of stress. At the same time the middle class becoming smaller and more and more people becoming marginalized, the result being the 1% popping up to the top and the 99% squellched down the bottom.

Here in NZ with a population of only 4 million people we over the last 3 years have been living on loans from unknown overseas bankers with no transparency as to the conditions of such credit. These loans being used to cushion NZers from the realities of having to tighten our belts to survive. At one level this appears to be a Government of benevolence, in sheltering the populace from a deeper recession than normal. This, just after giving a couple of billion dollars in tax cuts to the wealthiest percentage of our country.  Ca you see what we are dealing with here?

However, there is a very valid perception seen widely across NZ that for such a small country having these huge overseas loans we are quickly getting our nation deeper into debt - $20 billion with only just 'these' loans and now the government wants to sell off state assets to pay off our debts. Yep, that's the name of the game, certain interests in NZ are endeavouring to get the country deeply in debt, so that they can have their 'mates' buy up our crown community owned jewels by those who are well-healed enough to have money in there pockets to purchase shares namely  overseas corporations. And to sweeten the deal, garnished with the idea that mums and dads can buy them, when it is a forgone conclusion that when the share price goes up, a corporation will approach them, offer an exceptional price they can not refuse and snap those shares up and before long overseas interests have got more than a toe hold in the country.  Note the government is only putting up for sale 50% of these governmental owned enterprises. However, once more debt is accrued, it softens up the public to sell the remaining 50%. (Watch this space).

Circling like birds of prey these multi national corporations who have as their mandate the stripping of all state assets from any country on earth, and taking away and divesting from the commons, all public owned state assets. By controlling all state assets, corporations aim to put all citizens on a drip feed, this way they say they have certainty, but to others they can ramp up costs at virtually a whim or turn the tap off and dictate to you, as they have the monopoly - and control of society.

This is the challenge of the day. To halt the global takeover by corporations who aim to rule the world, by their using proxies and submissive media to brainwash and hypnotize a gullible planetary public that corporations and the private sector are by far, more efficient than national government and local government and council agencies.

And the  way the Corporate interets  are doing this resource grab,  is controlling a compliant global news media by a number of ways, by deliberately dumbing down the populace via cheap 52 inch LCD TV screens with crappy programs focussing on spectacle, glamour celebrity and titillation. By distracting people away from the issues of sovereignty, personal responsibility and self reliance, and telling the masses that the government knows best, we are giving our power away. When the media needs to cease catering for our grosser  individual indulgences and instead assisting us towards building community spirit.

We definitely did not have to sell off our state owned enterprises, like Telecom, the Bank of NZ and the State and Government Life Insurance offices, where all profits were returned to the people and the country as a whole, and that paid for our health and education and our roads and justice systems. When all we had to do is get more efficient management systems in place to run these institutions and pay performance bonuses where needed, but having no need to sell off these publicly owned assets,  that we the public already own.
Localised examples of this are Air NZ and NZ Railways been sold off to corporate interests, being run into the ground and gutted and compelling the NZ government to come in using tax payers money to buy them back because of their strategic importance. Thus privatising the wins and socializing the losses.

So what is the game plan?

That is to con both the so called two party political system through corporate lobbyists to either deceive or infiltrate through subtle means or fowl the major political parties be it right and left - that corporations can run big government far more efficiently these days. So the Democrats and Republicans, the Tories and Labour have been convinced that by opening up to free trade, there will be a flow on effect that corporations will open up more factories and with more jobs will keep the workers employed. Yet robotics are taking away more and more jobs that is where things are heading!

Because capital can flow easily from country to country, where billions of dollars pour into a nation, BUT can equally gush out of that state, as in Ireland and Greece leaving these countries high and dry, compelling the tax payers to clean up the mess and bail them out. We need to have more controls put in place regulating the banking system.

This is all tied in under the guise of Free Trade Agreements, where instead of a country becoming resilient and producing its own goods and services, instead opening up to shipping everything to every where, and in the process induce huge shipping miles and larger ecological footprints whilst in so many ways 'taking coals to Newcastle.'For ordinary people the name of the game is to WAKE UP!  Will they, and will you?

To be continued: With The Transpacific Partnership Agreement - A secret agreement that NZers are not privy too!
Known as the TPPA.

Why Paula Bennett is a hypocrite over welfare reforms

2/29/2012

Bennet Claims click: here.

Social Development Minister Paula Bennett has defended herself against claims she is a hypocrite for stripping away the rights of beneficiaries that she herself had as a sole parent.

Paula Bennett is beyond hypocrisy, she is in some special league of sanctimonious audacity. This is a woman who at 19 while on the DPB bought her home in Taupo thanks to a $56 000 Housing Corporation loan, this is a woman who while on the DPB was able to get a Training Incentive Allowance, this is a woman who said that when she worked part time she “pretty much fell apart because I was exhausted. I went back on the DPB"..

Right, so she benefitted from the welfare state, BUT NOW has killed off each of the policies that helped her? She is the same woman who is now demanding solo parents go back to work when she admits that doing so personally exhausted her and she had to in her own words go back on the DPB?

The only reason why this disgusting hypocrisy is allowed to stand is because as a nation we love bashing the dirty filthy bennie so much. The right consider Bennett a poacher turned gamekeeper, our love affair with bashing the dirty filthy bennie is alongside other favorite shire volk cultural treasures like Rugby, alcoholism and domestic abuse.

As Gordon Campbell brilliantly points out (a post the racist Holmes justifying Bryce Edwards ridiculously writes off as making 'obvious points')

Bennett and Prime Minister John Key both cited the large numbers of people on benefits as a sign that the current welfare system isn’t working. In Key’s opinion, the current welfare system is “on a pathway, in my view, to not being economically sustainable”. Well, it doesn’t take a vast institutional memory to refute the “not economically sustainable” claim. Less than ten years ago, a booming economy had reduced beneficiary numbers to historical lows. Meaning: when the economy is even reasonably healthy, welfare is eminently affordable. When it isn’t, the jobs don’t exist to make welfare reform socially sustainable.

Reason being, welfare is not the root cause of the problem. Blaming the welfare system for the current existence of poverty is like seeing the incidence of Third World diseases in this country, and blaming it on the existence of hospitals. Similarly, the social safety net does not cause people to live in poverty and be out of work – it is an effect, not a cause. And the current state of the welfare rolls is precisely what you would expect to find when the jobs market is barely off its sick bed after the global recession.

The current (and temporary) existence of large numbers on welfare is what people pay their taxes for: for help in time of need, a need which can happen to anyone. Instead, the current dire economic situation is being used as a pretext to shrink the social safety net, for reasons that have little to do with social need, or the vagaries of the business cycle. It has more to do with an ideology: Social Darwinism, thinly disguised as compassionate conservatism.

...this isn't about reforming welfare, it's about punishing those who have been determined as costing rather than contributing and the solution is a bloody great big stick wielded by a hypocrite who has no credibility.

That the weakest members of society must suffer because of an economic meltdown they had no hand in causing while the Government borrow billions in tax cuts for the rich is an obscenity.

Hilariously Paula Bennett was 15 mins late for her NZ Herald Live Chat today, hastily arranged in an attempt to counter the claim of hypocrisy. If she was unemployed and late for an interview, she'd have her benefit cancelled! The irony is simply too delicious, lap it up folks.

Paula Bennett deserves all the contempt one can muster.

American Police State Preparing For Drones Over America

On February 8, 2012, the President of the United States of America was presented with H.R.658, also known as the “FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act.”

On February 3 the House agreed to the conference report with a vote of 258-169 and on February 6, the Senate agreed to the conference report by a vote of 75-20.

This legislation, which was covered sparingly in the establishment media for reasons which will likely become quite obvious, includes some troubling provisions regarding the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs, better known simply as drones) in the United States.

Section 320 states that the legislation, “Requires the FAA Administrator to: (1) develop plans to accelerate the integration of unmanned aerial systems into the National Airspace System, and (2) report to Congress on progress made in establishing special use airspace for the DOD to develop detection techniques for small unmanned aerial vehicles and to validate sensor integration and operation of unmanned aerial systems.”

This section addresses both the increasing use of drones over America, which is obviously being accelerated, along with the Department of Defense’s efforts to develop systems to detect small drones and coordinate the sensor integration and operation of drones.

The same section also directs the Secretary of the Department of Defense to create a process to develop certification and flight standards which will be used for military drones at certain test sites.

The increasing use of drones in the United States, before this legislation was even passed, has been a matter of great concern for me along with many other analysts who have been keeping tabs on the issue.

Previously I have covered how drones can be used to track individuals over great distances, even tracking who they associate with and when, along with creating so-called “threat assessments” based on biometric information. These threat assessments effectively criminalize individuals before anything illegal is actually done, by detecting (or at least supposedly detecting) malicious intent.

There was also the case in North Dakota where a military drone, in this case the Predator B, was launched form an Air Force Base to assist police in finding and arrested suspects. This case obviously had sweeping implications due to the fact that it heavily blurred what used to be quite clear lines between law enforcement and the military.

This effectively circumvents the Posse Comitatus Act, something which is a disconcerting prospect for many individuals in the United States who believe in liberty and a constitutional government.

With the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012, or simply the NDAA as it is better known, the military has gained unprecedented new powers to detain Americans indefinitely without charge or trial based on nothing more than suspicion.

The American police state is growing in many ways, but the increasing use of the military on United States soil and the acceleration of the integration of drones – both military and civilian – is one of the most concerning.

Vaccines: Big Pharma’s ATM

The battle over vaccinations is heating up as more information, much of it previously hidden from the public, finds it way into the public eye.  Spurred by the massive rise in autism, neurological disorders, behavioral disorders and a host of physical symptoms and impairment’s in correlation with the administration of vaccines, parents have become increasingly wary of allowing vaccination of their infants and toddlers.

The elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about is the rise of infectious diseases in vaccinated populations.  The vaccines, we are told, are [thought] to prevent these diseases.  They [think] they will prevent disease.
  • Not one manufacturer has proven conclusively, or can produce any concrete evidence that they do.
  • How successful can a vaccine actually be if hundreds if not thousands die from the vaccine or are permanently injured from it?
  • If the vaccine causes at least as many deaths as the disease itself causes, what is the point of vaccinating?
  • If it also creates lifetime impairment’s  that are as bad and most times worse than those that would have occurred from the disease…….what have we actually accomplished?
  • And, if vaccines actually do provide immunity, why are booster’s needed even into adulthood is many cases?
  • If we interfere with the natural courses of disease, have we not prevented the very herd immunity big pharma claims is created with vaccines?
Money, money and more money

It is virtually impossible to comprehend the amount of money given under [humanitarian] aid, foreign aid, grants, subsidies, charities, philanthropy and numerous other sources for decades, to third world countries whose populations were and are considered disposable.  These funds supposedly go to fighting world hunger, providing clean sources for water and sanitation and reducing poverty.  Somewhere along the line, these ideas got derailed too when it was decided that third world countries provided not only a means for funneling cash to various entities for hidden agendas, but could also be a source for repeatedly testing [vaccines] and other highly suspect pharmacological products.
Its all about the money.  Whether vaccines work as some want to believe they do or whether they don’t as most of us believe, your health, my health, or the health of third world populations was never the foremost consideration.  The profits from selling vaccines are massive even when it is known that the efficacy, the simple idea that they might work, is highly questionable.  When they are found to contain hidden agents meant to sterilize vulnerable populations, the pharmaceutical ATM’s never stop collecting the cash.  Even when caught contaminating vaccines as they did in the Phillipines in 1995 and in Nigeria in 2004  with sterilization components.  In the Phillipines it is estimated that 40% of the women were sterilized before anyone caught on to what was being done to them.

Can America Survive The Cassandra Syndrome?

2/29/2012

America added 115 million people from 1965 to 2012.  Demographic experts showed 315 million people living in America in January 2012.  They expect an added 85 million by 2035 to reach 400 million.   The consequences grow irreversible and unsolvable.

As population rises, carrying capacity drops.  What is “carrying capacity?”  For a quick rendition, it means, “The amount resources on a given piece of land to allow long term sustainable human, plant and animal life.”

If animals or humans exceed ‘carrying capacity’ of any given land mass, they crash in numbers by various means, i.e., famine, war and disease.  Garrett Hardin, noted biologist called it, “The Tragedy of the Commons.”  (Source: http://www.GarrettHardinSociety.org

For the 7.1 billion humans in the 21st century and headed for 10.2 billion in 40 years, oil resources will define that capacity quotient.  Noted Geologist Walter Youngquist said, “This is going to be an interesting decade, for the perfect storm is brewing—energy, immigration and oil imports.  China grows in direct confrontation for remaining oil.  I think the USA is on a big, slippery downhill slope.  Will the thin veneer of civilization survive?” To see how fast we grow, visit http://www.populationmedia.com

“Cassandra Syndrome”: The Cassandra Syndrome is a term applied to predictions of doom about the future that are not believed, but upon later reflection turn out to be correct. This denotes a psychological tendency among people to disbelieve inescapably bad news, often through denial. The person making the prediction is caught in the dilemma of knowing what is going to happen but not being able to resolve the problem.  The origin of the name is derived from Cassandra, who, using her prescience, foresaw the demise of Troy. No one believed her.

Youngquist continued, “Beyond oil, population is the number one problem of the 21st century, for when oil is gone as we know and use it today—and it WILL be gone—population will still be here.”

The world uses 84 million barrels daily.  That’s 42 gallons to a drum.  By mid century, China, now placing 27,000 new cars on its highways every seven days, expects to burn 98 million barrels of oil daily—all by itself!  Oil will run out because of limited reserves in the ground. (Source: The Long Emergency by James Howard Kunsteler)

Dr. Albert Bartlett of the University of Colorado said, “Present population growth rate is putting our children at risk.  They will experience holes in the ozone causing serious biological effects on plants and humans.  World ocean fisheries are collapsing from endless plundering.  Two thirds of the world’s people will suffer from water shortages by 2025.  It is not possible to sustain population growth or growth in rates of consumption of resources.”

Where is the worst overpopulation problem on the planet according to Dr. Bartlett?  “It’s right here in the United States!”

Dr. Bartlett said, “Can you think of any problem, on any scale, from microscopic to global, whose long-term solution is in any demonstrable way, aided, assisted, or advanced, by having continued population growth—at the local level, the state level, the national level, or globally?”

How many people in the United States are enough?  How far down the gopher hole do we want to dig ourselves?  At what point is enough—too much?  If we shut down the borders today with zero immigration, while enjoying our sustainable 2.03 fertility level of American women on average, we would still grow via “population momentum” by an added 40 million.

In other words, we’re painting ourselves into a perilous corner. Once the numbers manifest, our society will suffer irreversible consequences with unsolvable problems.  One visit to Los Angeles will show you they suffer toxic air, dwindling safe drinking water, gridlock to the point of insanity, water shortages, endless highways and housing development.  Consider San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Detroit, Denver and all other large cities grow beyond the bounds of reason!

Sustainable growth, slow growth, managed growth, smart growth and all other kinds of growth are oxymoronic.  There is no such thing as sustainable growth.  Why? All growth exceeds carrying capacity at some point.  In other words, the bubble bursts, the dam breaks, the glass spills, the balloon pops and the red-lined engine blows up.

“Population growth is given as a cause of the problems identified, but eliminating the cause is not mentioned as a solution,” Bartlett said. “We are prescribing aspirin for cancer.”

At the current rate of growth driven by immigration, America will double its population just past mid century—from 300,000,000 to 600,000,000.  As long as the underlying cause of a problem is not dealt with, we, and our leaders, as a nation, perpetuate a falsehood which Mark Twain called ‘silent-assertion’:  “Almost all lies are acts,” he said.  “I am speaking of the lie of ‘silent-assertion’.  It would not be possible for a humane and intelligent person to invent a rational excuse for slavery; yet you will remember that in the early days of emancipation in the North, agitators got small help from anyone.  They could not break the universal stillness that reigned from the pulpit and press all the way down to the bottom of society--the clammy stillness created and maintained by the lie of silent-assertion that there wasn’t anything going on in which intelligent people were interested.

“The conspiracy of the silent-assertion lie is hard at work always and everywhere, and always in the interest of a stupidity (unlimited growth) or sham (unlimited immigration), never in the interest of the respectable (average citizens).  It is the most timid and shabby of all lies.  The silent-assertion is that nothing is going on which fair and intelligent men and women are aware of and are engaged by their duty to try to stop.”

Silent-assertion worked until it brought China, India and Bangladesh to their knees with sheer misery of numbers.  How do I know?  I’ve spent a lot of time in Asia and other overpopulated regions.  China, even with enforced one child per family, grows by 8 million annually. India, with 1.2 billion, adds 12 million yearly.  Bangladesh suffers 157 million people in a landmass the size of Iowa.  Do you see anyone racing to immigrate to those havens of human overload?

What I ask is, do we as a nation, want millions upon millions of added people from countries already exceeding their carrying capacity?  Legal immigration proves as dangerous as illegal.  To think otherwise will allow that silent-assertion to create another China or India in America.  Just imagine Iowa with 157 million people and all the rest of the United States with THAT kind of population density!

Albert Einstein said, “The problems in the world today are so enormous they cannot be solved with the level of thinking that created them.”

We are no longer living in the 20th century America with only 75 million people riding horses or trains.  We’re in the 21st century with cars and jets and 315 million people added to the 7.1 billion on the planet--creating horrific environmental consequences.  Again, we had to change our ‘silent-assertion’ about slavery and we MUST change our ‘silent-assertion’ about population growth and economic growth.  If we continue steaming full speed ahead like the captain of the Titanic, our children will be on board when we hit the peak oil, global warming, ozone holes, collapsing species, air pollution and other commensurate problems related to the overpopulation “iceberg.”  Most died on the Titanic because there weren’t enough life boats.

Maybe some of us choose to maintain our ‘silent-assertion’ in the face of growing consequences, but how can any parent or grandparent be that callous to their children?

Argentine advice for Greece: ‘Default Now!’

2/29/2012

Contributor to Hemisphere To Hemisphere

Here in Argentina, when we watch the terrible things that are happening today in Greece, we can only exclaim, “Hey!! That’s exactly what happened in Argentina in 2001 and 2002…!”

A decade ago, Argentina too went through a systemic Sovereign Public Debt collapse resulting in social turmoil, worker hardship, rioting and street fights with the police.

Some months before Argentina exploded, then-President Fernando de la Rúa – forced to resign at the height of the 2001 crisis – had called back as finance minister the notorious pro-banker, Trilateral Commission member and Rockefeller/Soros/Rhodes protégée Domingo Cavallo.

Cavallo was the gruesome architect of Argentina’s political and economic capitulation to the US and UK when he was President Carlos Menem’s foreign minister and economy minister in the ’90s.

Menem and Cavallo are primarily responsible for Argentina’s signing of a formal Treaty of Capitulation with the UK/US after the 1982 Falklands War, opening up our economy to unrestricted privatization, deregulation and grossly excessive US Dollar-indebtedness, almost tripling our sovereign debt in a few short years (see my February 11, 2012 article British Laughter in the Falklands).

The Plan? Prepare Argentina for planned weakening, bankster take-over and collapse, so that a new weakening-takeover-collapse cycle could begin.   In 2001, Cavallo was back to finish his work…

During that very hot summer in December 2001, true to its Latin temperament, Argentina even had four (yes, 4!) presidents in just one week.  One of them, Adolfo Rodriguez Sáa, who only lasted three days, at least did one thing right, even if he did it the wrong way: he declared Argentina’s default on its sovereign debt.

All hell broke loose! The international bankers and IMF did everything they could to break Argentina’s back; global media pundits predicted all kinds of impending catastrophes. Debt default meant Argentina would have to weather the pain and agony alone, being cast out by the “international financial community”.

Broken Hearts Really Do Hurt

2/29/2012

Picture
Broken-hearted” isn’t just a metaphor--social pain and physical pain have a lot in common, according to Naomi Eisenberger of the University of Califiornia-Los Angeles, the author of a new paper published in Current Directions in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science. In the paper, she surveys recent research on the overlap between physical and social pain.

“Rejection is such a powerful experience for people,” Eisenberger says. “If you ask people to think back about some of their earliest negative experiences, they will often be about rejection, about being picked last for a team or left out of some social group.” People talk about hurt feelings and broken hearts, but Eisenberger realized they might be onto something when she and a colleague noticed how similar their images of brain activity looked in people who had experienced social rejection and others who had experienced physical pain. “We were sitting next to each other and noticed how similar the two brain images looked,” she says. That similarity has held up in later research. Physical pain and social pain are processed in some of the same regions of the brain. Physical pain has two aspects: the sensory experience of pain and the emotional component, in which your brain decides how negative or distressing the pain is. It is the latter that is shared with social pain, although some research has suggested that severe social rejection, like being dumped, can also be processed in the part of your brain that handles the sensory component of pain.

People who are more sensitive to physical pain are also more sensitive to social pain; they feel more rejected after completing a social exclusion task, in which the other two players in a computer version of catch refuse to share the ball. One study even found that people who took Tylenol for three weeks reported less hurt feelings than people who took a placebo. Even Eisenberger was surprised by that. “It follows in a logical way from the argument that the physical and social pain systems overlap, but it’s still kind of hard to imagine,” she says. “We take Tylenol for physical pain; it’s not supposed to work on social pain.”

Eisenberger does not recommend taking painkillers so you don’t feel social pain. And, besides, there may be value to experiencing the pain of rejection. “I think it’s probably there for a reason--to keep us connected to others,” she says. “If we’re constantly numbing the feeling of social rejection, are we going to be more likely do things that get us rejected, that alienate us?” There may be some cases where the social pain is too much, though; future research may look at whether it should sometimes be treated.

The research validates the hurt feelings of people who have been socially rejected, Eisenberger says. “We seem to hold physical pain in higher regard than social pain,” she says. While bystanders understand that physical pain hurts and can be debilitating, the same empathy doesn’t always extend to people feeling social pain. “The research is sort of validating. It suggests that there is something real about this experience of pain that we have following rejection and exclusion.”

The importance of drinking more water as you age

2/27/2012

Picture
This is known as a glass of fresh vital water.
As month one draws to a close, I wanted to leave everyone with some motivation to stay hydrated, especially as you get older. You are probably aware that as you age, there are certain bodily processes that start to become sluggish compared to when you were younger. For example, when I was in my late teens and early twenties, I was better able to recover after a night of drinking. If you’re thinking, “late teens!!!”, don’t worry, the drinking age in Ontario is 19 and 18 in Quebec, which I live very close to. I would be able to spend all night drinking, have very little sleep, barely any water and still be able to function quite well the next day. Not always, mind you, but it was still possible. Now, I find that if I don’t drink some water before I go to sleep after a night of drinking, I have a headache the next day. I often feel very lethargic as well. Being hungover is essentially the aftermath of dehydration the alcohol has done to your body. Coupled with the diuretic effects of caffeine from one of my staple bevvies, the rum and coke, it isn’t looking pretty. So, as we age, our bodies have a more difficult time recovering from dehydration.

There are two reasons why we need to drink more water as we get older:

1. Your body starts to lose its capacity to process water efficiently, therefore it is easier to become dehydrated.

2. Your body doesn’t signal its thirst as well. As we age, we are less likely to feel the need to drink water.

When I started to plan my year of the detox, I asked my dad that if he could do only one thing to improve his health, that it be to increase his water intake. Though his intake of alcohol has decreased, he used to drink a lot of beer and he also has coffee occasionally. I asked him one day, as I was researching more about water, how much water he’d had that day and it was about a cup. That was at the end of an entire day! To keep our bodies functioning at its best, we need to be hydrated.

I invite you to Occupy Your Spirit, residing in the light of your true self.  Occupy Stillness, your breath quiet and steady as your purpose and mastery reveals itself now and in every moment.

We who live in Aotearoa/New Zealand are indeed very fortunate.  We occupy this sacred land of our ancestors as part of our roots on Mother Earth.  What we eat, drink, breath, think and feel, this land experiences.  So as we Occupy Love, we emanate what it is to be a fully awakened conscious humanity.  The land rejoices!

I invite you to Occupy Your Existence in the spirit of cooperation and co- creation of peace with 7 billion brothers and sisters through the rest on 2012 and beyond.
