Radiation from Fukushima Arrived in New Zealand 29, January 2012

1/31/2012

With an intro from Mitch Santell.....

If anyone thinks that the Radiation form Fukushima was not going to arrive in New Zealand I would have said "your delusional." Well, as they said in the movie Poltergeist "They're here!

Read on to find out the rest! Wow!

According to Peter Daley in Australia....

I have been in contact with a person In New Zealand who just sent me information of a detection of a high level radiation cloud passing over Dunedin New Zealand. You will find a copy of his email correspondence below. This chart is the recorded background radiation level during this event.  Visual observation saw peaks reach an incredible 1.89 uS/Hr !
Picture
It was only a matter of time before Radiation would hit Aotearoa.
“Dear Peter,

Now that I have regained my composure, I thought I would write. It has been a wild afternoon! I shall write you a report upon what was observed later, if you wish to publish it, you can. Feel free to include those images on your website.
The steady-ish readings of 0.81 (photo) were taken when I came in off the street. It was briefly reading 1.89 on the street in the wind. I decided to come inside asap to the back yard, and then left the GS sitting outside for a while (0.25 photo) – checking on it. I’m in a relatively sheltered section. There was no way I was going to stand in ~2 microSieverts per hour in the wind!! No detectable radiation on me as such, it appears to be in the air. I can only speculate as to what it is. To be honest, it scared the cap out of me!

I remember waste drums putting out 1.2 micros per hour … but almost 2 in the wind – well?! You don’t stand in that and wait around. So far, I’ve kept it relatively quiet from the press, and shall continue to monitor – as we have a rain front system approaching from the South. I’m not sure how to handle this, as I wish to maintain a very very low profile.

It is clear, that both ARPANSA and NRL are intentionally playing dumb. That said, it is probably best that I feed information to you, and it can be used at your end effectively. I’m now set up with camera and logging everything on 1 minute sampling (in case the data fouls on transfer and also that a photographed reading says more than a data point)”

Here is his follow up report.

“Hello Peter!

Please find the following notes.
Notes re yesterday:

On Sunday 29/1/2012 at 13:30 local time an increase in radiation inside was noted. This was investigated, and found to be emanating from the atmosphere itself. Wind conditions were gusting to strong from the NW direction at the time. Standing in the street, a peak climbing rate of 1.89 microSieverts/hr was noted (the observer did not remain to see how high it would go, as it was considered unwise to do so).
The Gammascout was reset to collect data (as its memory was full), and the sampling window set to 1 minute.
Several excursions were made outside to investigate the conditions, and the results can be seen in photographs and in the logs supplied. These were recorded in a sheltered ‘back yard’.  These logs did not record the peak events see earlier, unfortunately.
From 16:51 events were recorded inside. The Gammascout memory was downloaded when it was full. Outside natural background average is 0.10-0.12 micro Sv/hr, inside average ranges from 0.15-0.18 microSv/hr.

Further monitoring will take place in conditions when the wind direction is from the Tasman Sea. Further photographs await processing on 35 mm film.”

Here is the location of Dunedin. It is on the south island of New Zealand, what I considered to be one of the safest places on the planet, if a Nuclear disaster like Fukushima happened. So what is going on?

Latest potrblog video  provides a good explanation of what is happening with the jet stream air currents at present. A split in the jet stream  has occurred which is driving some of the Fukushima fallout radiation into the Southern Hemisphere.
Here is what "the main fake stream media" said about New Zealand. Remember folks, they are not telling us the truth, ever....okay maybe 10 per cent.

This was reported in at Stuff dot co dot NZ back in March of 2011:
Nuclear fallout would not affect New Zealand, expert says...People in New Zealand do not need to worry about radiation poisoning should a quake-damaged nuclear power plant in Japan suffer a catastrophic meltdown, an expert says.

Should there be radioactive fallout from the facilities, it would not affect the southern hemisphere, GNS Science senior scientist Bernard Barry said.

Troubles at the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant in Fukushima province were set in motion when last Friday's magnitude 9 quake and tsunami in Japan's northeast knocked out power, crippling the cooling systems needed to keep nuclear fuel from going into full meltdown even weeks after a reactor shuts down.

There have since been three explosions at the plant, and a fourth reactor has caught fire.

However, even if the reactor cores were to melt and remain within the reactor vessel, consequences for the general population would be minimal, Dr Barry said.

The Power of ColorTherapy

The use of color therapy has been around for a very long time, with the earliest recording dated 2500 years ago, when, color halls were established for healing purposes all over ancient Egypt and China.

Color therapy, also known as chromotherapy, is often facilitated in the healing rooms of alternative health practitioners. Color therapy is classified as a vibrational healing modality. Color is simply a form of visible light, of electromagnetic energy. All the primary colors reflected in the rainbow carry their own unique healing properties. The sun alone is a wonderful healer! Just imagine what life would be like without sunshine.

Color Healing, Light Therapy and Chromotherapy  are all terms used interchangeably with Color Therapy, which is a set of principles used to create harmonious color and color combinations for healing. This form of energy medicine is based on the belief that the human body is composed of energy fields. When the energy is properly distributed and circulating freely, the body is healthy. Imbalances or abnormal amounts of energy are believed to indicate an excess or deficency. Color is energy. The energy vibration of that color is what you need, in the moment, in order to improve and balance your physical and emotional state.

Be careful what you tweet.
It’s time for another entry in “Be careful what you say on social media.”

This week’s entry comes from the U.K. where two British tourists were arrested for jokingly tweeting that they were going to “destroy America” and “dig up Marilyn Monroe” according to the Daily Mail.

Leigh Van Bryan and Emily Bunting were handcuffed and kept under armed guard for 12 hours after being arrested in Los Angeles upon their landing.

The Department of Homeland Security flagged Van Bryan as a potential threat after tweeting about his upcoming trip to Hollywood: “Free this week, for quick gossip/prep before I go and destroy America.”

Despite the obvious knowledge that the term “destroy” is British slang for “party,” the officers weren’t buying their explanation for the offending tweet.

Absurdly enough, Van Bryan was also questioned about a previous tweet that said he was going to dig up Marilyn Monroe. The tweet was apparently quoting Family Guy.

It’s reported that the officers looked through Bryan’s suitcase looking for spades and shovels convinced that Bunting was his “look out” while he raided the dead star’s tomb.

They were held for 12 hours overnight in separate cells. It’s reported that Mexican drug criminals kept them company throughout the evening.

The next morning, the friends were driven to the airport and put on a plane home via Paris.

Bunting was quoted as saying that they were not allowed in the country because of Bryan’s tweet. She apparently burst out laughing when she was accused of being the “look out” while Bryan raided Monroe’s tomb.

The most humorous part of all of this is Leigh’s charge sheet where federal officials said that Bryan had posted his intention to commit crimes on his “Tweeter Web site account.” The federal government arrests somebody for using social media and can’t even get the name right.

The friends were told that they must apply for visas from the U.S. embassy in London before traveling to the U.S. again.

It’s not surprising that Bryan’s twitter account is now locked down to only confirmed followers.

Take this a lesson, friends. The feds don’t appreciate you taking to your “Tweeter” to announce the upcoming party you are going to have in the U.S. They apparently don’t watch Family Guy either so they’re not going to get your joke.

The Healing Sound of Music

Music Therapy Is Beautiful For Baby.
Music in the Nursery

A tiny infant lies in a neonatal ward. The heat of an incubator replaces the warmth of her mother's arms; tubes filled with nutrients replace her mother's milk. Every breath is a struggle. Her underdeveloped heart beats erratically. All around her are other infants in distress - the monitors attached to them bleep in time with their struggle to live. Fear is on the faces of anxious parents hovering as close as possible. Nurses scurry to and fro, dealing with crises every moment.

The peace and tranquility of their mother's wombs is replaced with the whoosh and hiss of respirators, bleeping monitors, parents crying, nurses giving and receiving instructions. Even though these infants are not fully conscious of their surroundings, these sounds affect their ability to relax and sleep. And sleep is essential to helping them gain strength and live.In the midst of this, a harpist enters the ward. She begins to softly play an ancient lullaby. After a few moments, the monitors steady. Nearly all of the infants breathe more easily; their heartrates steady, and they rest. Many of them fall into deep sleep - the first they have had since the harpist last was here.

The nurses relax, and smiles of relief grace the faces of the parents when they see the tiny souls absorbing the healing power of this beautiful music.

Music can heal.
Music and Alzheimers

A group of Alzheimers patients are gathered in the assembly room of a nursing home. One tiny, frail woman sits off to the side in her wheelchair. Her eyes are vacant - her mind somewhere far from her body and the room in which it rests.

The activities director introduces a young couple. He carries a guitar, and walks with his wife to the piano. The young woman sits down, and plays a few notes. Most of the residents have not even looked up - they don't hear most of what anyone says - or if they do, they cannot, or will not, respond. But the two volunteers are unconcerned; they smile at each other and the seniors, and they begin to play and sing. A rousing rendition of "Oh, Susannah" has several of the residents looking up - flickers of recognition cross their faces. A few choruses of "How Great Thou Art" inspires many of them to stand and walk or wheel their chairs toward the piano. Soon several are singing along to "Amazing Grace". A few country and western tunes bring several more residents into the present, and "In the Mood" has nearly everyone dancing along. Everyone, that is, except the frail, tiny woman in the wheelchair in the corner.

The guitarist is concerned, and calls over a nurse who tells him that the little woman is German, and doesn't know most American songs. She has also reverted back to speaking German - unable to converse any longer in English, for she cannot remember the words.
The young man smiles and signals to his wife. The next tune is the "Blue Danube." He watches closely, and sees that the frail old woman's eyes begin to focus. She watches as several of the residents begin to waltz together - wheelchairs and all. When "The Beer Barrel Polka" starts, this tiny woman, who hasn't smiled or connected in any way with anyone for months, wheels her chair toward the piano. Singing all the way. The other residents clap, and sing along with her, all of them excited to recognize her and each other. The party continues for an hour, when the young couple must go to their day jobs.

The Power of A Hug

1/29/2012

Hugs not guns.
A hug is generally a positive exchange of energy between two or more people. Healing is sometimes about simply having someone hold you in their arms and feeling their love, caring and compassion. To many souls reality is a lonely, painful experience with nowhere to turn. A hug is a way to share both good and bad times with others. A hug can create a connection that one cannot express in words. Even a small hug generally makes everyone feel good. A hug can make one feel safe and secure. It can lift our spirits and make us smile. Some people are not comfortable with the physical embrace, yet a quick hug can go a long way. A hug is meant for everyone.

The Power of Hugging

Hugging accomplishes many things that you may never have thought of. It ...

- feels good
- dispels loneliness
- overcomes fear
- opens doors to feelings
- builds self-esteem (WOW, SHE actually wants to hug me!)
- fosters altruism (I can't believe it but I actually want to hug that old son-of-a-gun)
- slows down aging (huggers stay young longer)
- helps curb appetite (we eat less when we are nourished by hugs and when our arms are busy wrapped around others)
- More Good Things from Hugging
- eases tension
- fights insomnia
- keeps arms and shoulder muscles in condition
- provides stretching exercise if you are short
- provides stooping exercise if you are tall
- offers a wholesome alternative to promiscuity
- offers a healthy, safe alternative to alcohol and other drug abuse (better hugs than drugs!)
- affirms physical being
- is democratic (anyone is eligible for a hug)

Even More Benefits from Hugging

- is ecologically sound (it does not upset the environment)
- is energy-efficient (saves heat)
- is portable
- requires no special equipment
- demands no special setting (a fine place for a hug is any place from a doorstep to an executive conference room ... from a church parlor to a football field)
- makes happy days happier
- imparts feelings of belonging
- fills up empty places in our lives
- keeps on working to dispense benefits even after the hug is released

What Does Overpopulation Mean Exactly?

1/29/2012

Written by Frosty Wooldridge, a contributor to Hemisphere to Hemisphere

We might hear the "overpopulation" word bantered around a lot, but what does it mean? Who defines it? Can we identify the long term consequences?   Simply put: it means any given species cannot exceed the carrying capacity of the land it inhabits. For example: if you possess an acre of land with one watering hole that's two feet in diameter, the land has a carrying capacity of two horses that can enjoy all the grass they can eat, water they can drink and the rains would wash away the waste to fertilize the soil to grow more grass. It's all in balance.

Once you add 100 horses to the acre of land, the horses will over-eat the land, deplete the water supply and create more waste than can be mitigated. Those horses will kill the food source, overwhelm the watering hole, start fighting for grass and eventually and most if not all will die from starvation.   The same principles apply to humans. Whereas the United States enjoy a greater carrying capacity because of water and climate, Australia with the same land mass, features 96 percent desert. Therefore, a much smaller carrying capacity. Both countries already exceed their carrying capacity as to energy and energy keeps the game going.

"Unlimited population growth cannot be sustained; you cannot sustain growth in the rates of consumption of resources. No species can overrun the carrying capacity of a finite land mass." This Law cannot be repealed and is not negotiable. Dr. Albert Bartlett, www.albartlett.org , University of Colorado, USA.

In this continuing series, Dr. Jack Alpert, Stanford University, brings it down to simple terms. He explains what we face in his seven minute video which we have placed above.

"The important part of what Clugston says is that on the road to exhaustion of resources our kids won't have these resources to support their lives," said Alpert. "However, few of today's decision makers (parents) can visualize the difference between the child's future experience and their present experience.   "Parents don't realize that their personal experience of life is dependent on the delivery of NNR's. Parents can't visualize what their life would be like without these supporting NNR's. For example, no car, no heat, no electric lights, no running water, no communications, no computer, no grocery store, no hardware store, no general store, no books, and no medicine. So parents don't realize what kind of bad times are in store for their kids. In one sentence, our progeny will experience lots of scarcity and fighting over the remnants of what parents thought was their kid's birth right.

Creating Silence from Chaos

1/29/2012

Picture
A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks he becomes. - Mahatma Gandhi.
Written by Leo Babuta

We are often afraid of silence, because its emptiness feels idle, boring, unproductive, and scary. And so we fill our lives with chaos, noise, clutter.

But silence can be lovely, and therapeutic, and powerful.

It can be the remedy for our stress and the habits that crush us.

If we want quiet in our lives, how do we create it?

I’ve been exploring this myself. As a father of six kids, I have to admit that I don’t always have silence in my life. That’s not a complaint — I love the messy noise that my family brings — but silence can be a welcome refuge from that noise at times.

I create silence by subtracting, and not filling the resulting emptiness withe noise or clutter.

And so my life is a constant experimentation with subtracting. When I’ve subtracted, and learn to love the empty silence, I subtract some more. Subtraction is a beautiful process.

Prefer subtraction over addition.

Learn to be content with little, or nothing.

Realize that silence is beautiful.

Find yourself in the empty space that results.

Empty a room, and put almost nothing back except that which produces quiet.

Speak less, listen more, contemplate even more.

Walk in silence. Watch the leaves quiver, fall in silence, whisper in the wind.

Sit and do nothing. Listen to your mind make noise in the silence, allow it to subside.

Eschew video, iPods, books, the Internet, mobile devices, social networks, and other purveyors of noise.

Be quiet, so that life may speak.

The Girl Who Silenced The U.N. For 5 minutes

1/29/2012

This is an incredible video of a Canadian girl who spoke to the United Nations and left them completely silent and speechless for five minutes. Her name is Severn Cullis-Suzuki, and her speech was given at a U.N. assembly in Brazil when she was twelve years old. She had raised all the money to travel to the delegation, five thousand miles from her home, herself. Speaking about the hole in the ozone layer, pollution, the devastation of the forests and extinction of so many species, Severn charges that we adults have no idea how to fix these things, in fact can’t fix them, and that we must change our ways. “If you don’t know how to fix it, stop breaking it,” she pleads.

Severn continued to say:

“I am here to speak for all generations to come. I am here to speak on behalf of starving children around the world whose cries go unheard. I’m only a child and I don’t have the solutions…but neither do you. I am only a child, but I know we are all part of a family five billion strong; in fact, 30 million species strong, and borders and governments will never change that.

Even when we have more than enough, we are afraid to share. We are afraid to let go of some of our wealth. Two days ago here in Brazil, we were shocked when we spent some time with children living in the streets. This is what one child told us:

‘I wish I was rich. And if I were, I would give all the street children food, clothes, medicine, shelter, love and affection.’

If child on the streets who has nothing is willing to share – why are we, who have everything, still so greedy?

I am only a child, but I know if all the money spent on war was spent on finding environmental answers, ending poverty, and finding treaties – what a wonderful place this world would be.”

And here’s the kicker – this speech was given in 1992, at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. How much is still relevant today? All of it. And the more important question is: How much has been changed, accomplished, since Severn spoke that day? Years later, Severn wrote a piece for Time magazine in which she said: “I spoke for six minutes and received a standing ovation. Some of the delegates even cried. I thought that maybe I had reached some of them, that my speech might actually spur action. Now, a decade from Rio, after I’ve sat through many more conferences, I’m not sure what has been accomplished. My confidence in the people in power and in the power of an individual’s voice to reach them has been deeply shaken…In the 10 years since Rio, I have learned that addressing our leaders is not enough. As Gandhi said many years ago, ‘We must become the change we want to see.’ I know change is possible.”

USDA, FDA colluding with CODEX organizations

1/29/2012

Picture
Written by Marti Oakley, a contributor to Hemisphere to Hemisphere.

The news that USDA was closing down 250 domestic offices in order to supposedly save 150 million a year in funds has been generally received as an advanced warning across America of an oncoming new program administered by some agency, council or group other than the USDA.  Bear in mind, this is the same USDA that is squandering 250 million in bogus grants to get smart meters installed in rural America. The USDA which has become nothing more than a domestic threat to rural America never does anything remotely considered to be family, independent, rural, USA friendly unless of course you happen to be one of those Big Ag and the Bio-Pirates, corporate partners.

The idea that USDA is closing domestic offices while leaving massive numbers of foreign offices open for business is alarming on the one hand and yet, somehow comforting to think the staffs of what has become known as a domestic terrorist organization might be out of work.  Not so fast Gretel!  What you need to be asking yourself is……what is going to replace it?  You know they aren’t just going to leave our family farmers and ranchers alone.  There is something else most definitely in the works and the notice below might just be the tip off to what that something is and what might be on the horizon.

The fact that the infamous FDA was part of this meeting should have us all running screaming for cover.

Executive Producer - H2H

Where do we start? We start with inspiration. Each and every day you may visit Hemisphere to Hemisphere. We wish to inspire you and we also wish to tell the truth. It all comes down to this. Ready?  "If The Powers That Be"continue on the path they are on, all humanity will be in danger. We must come together.

We are going to give you some radical solutions to take your life. The solutions are so radical that they are all things that you learned as a child.

To take our world back we must take our own life back. We are all living in a "Global Corporatocracy" where companies have more rights than people do. Think about that? Where have we all gone wrong?

As you visit our blog every day, as you think about how fast our world is moving. This is something I want you to ask yourself,

As yourself this questions, "When I speak and when I share my personal views on humanity, faith, politics, am I sharing what I really feel or is this something that I was brainwashed with?

This all comes down to three things:

Accountability, Responsibility, and Discernment.

Yes, we are committed to inspiration and we are committed to the truth. Each of our contributors has their own story and their own journey. Through out the weeks and months ahead you'll hear from people form all walks of life.

Have a comment? Have a story to share? All good on this end. Just email me at: Mitch@HemisphereToHemisphere.com as we are open to all ideas.
